Living with HIV/AIDS has many challenges. HIV/AIDS affects not only a person's physical health, but their emotional, psychological and spiritual health as well. Because Casey House is committed to providing holistic health care for all its clients, we have Counselling Services, which can assist a person in managing their overall health.
The counsellors at Casey House can help in the following areas:
- spiritual and religious care
- liaison with other organizations or the government
- advocacy
- HIV/AIDS education and information
- access to community resources
- on-going psychological, emotional and spiritual care including:
- practical, legal and financial counsel
- individual counselling and supportive care
- couples counselling
- family counselling
- substance use counselling
- grief and bereavement counselling
